Brotherhood is extremely important to us, as it is what connects us and empowers our Fraternity as a whole. Commitment to the brotherhood includes going above and beyond to connect to brothers both as a friend and as a professional. Brothers should conduct themselves in professional manner and always show respect to those around them.
Brothers should be aware that they must actively take part in the Fraternity’s charitable efforts. Brothers have the opportunity to take part in a wide variety of organized community service oriented events that range from planting trees, to helping sheltered dogs find a home.
Lastly, brothers should be social. Delta Sigma Pi is about forming connections with brothers, forging new friendship, and creating new memories. Brothers should be willing to make new friends.
Requirements and Dates
In order to be eligible, applicants must fulfill all of the following requirements:
Be a full-time undergraduate student at GW.
Be enrolled in the School of Business or be majoring in Finance, Economics, or International Affairs (with an Economics concentration).
Be in good academic standing.
Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (incoming first-year students are exempt).
Have not submitted an application more than twice.
Is not applying to another business fraternity.

FAQ
How long does the recruitment process take?
We host multiple rush events spread over 3 weeks. If admitted into the pledge class, you will be engaged in a 5-week pledging process.
What happens if I can't make it to one of the recruitment events?
Feel free to contact us at recruitment@gwudsp.com! Provide us an explanation behind your absence, and we will try to make appropriate accommodations.
How can I be a successful recruit?
We are a diverse and vibrant community and we therefore look for those who demonstrate excitement and curiosity about our Fraternity. We strongly encourage you to get to know the current brothers during our recruitment events, whether it's asking about their experiences as a brother, a student at GW, or potential internships. Don’t forget that we are also hoping to get to know you!
What time commitment should I expect as a pledge?
Based on brother testimonies, the time commitment for pledging is similar to the time put into a 2-credit course.
What are the expectations as a pledge?
Pledges must be responsible, respectful and willing to learn!
How many recruits do we accept in our pledge classes?
We do not have a cap for the number of recruits we take per semester. However, we receive a large number of highly qualified applicants, thus the process can be competitive.
